South Scottsdale

South Scottsdale is a scenic region which is tucked away in the breath-taking  Sonoran Desert and is situated just to the east of the dazzlingly beautiful Papago Park Mountains. The area's residents enjoy a centralized location  which is close in proximity to art and cultural events and to the diversity of the neighboring community. South Scottsdale's  homes are older and more affordable. Most residents (including Arizona State University students) commute a short distance to North Scottsdale, Tempe, or Phoenix for their employment or educational needs since the region does not provide many jobs.

 

South Scottsdale can boast a coming attraction in the form of a high tech research park which will be built by Arizona State University and will create about 4,000 jobs. North Scottsdale's fantastic amenities are nearby and include esteemed schools, world class shopping centers, five star restaurants, prestigious medical centers, and fabulous art galleries.
